Technology has dramatically altered the way we do business. Desk tops, lap tops, wireless connectivity, VOIP and telephone fax machines, printers, scanners, and copiers all connect to computers, creating a vast array of cabling requirements.

The problem is that buildings are still constructed in the same manner as a century ago. Our current (antiquated) building methods don't accommodate new cabling requirements. True, shifting from post-slab to post-tension cabled buildings has provided more floors in the same space. But, traditional construction still core drills for electricity and cabling and continues to run cables and electrical in the walls, ceilings, and through furniture, basically making an office setup (and the materials used) good for one configuration only.
